Sammy Watkins (calf) did not practice on Wednesday.

Watkins injured his calf in Week 16 and didn't play in the season finale with the Chiefs' starters resting. Wednesday was our first look at how serious his calf injury is, and it appears that his status is up in the air. Watkins will need to get in a limited practice by Friday to have a chance of playing against the Browns. If he's out, Mecole Hardman would join Tyreek Hill and Demarcus Robinson in three-receiver sets with Byron Pringle also being an option. Watkins' injuries are beginning to really pile up.
