Darrel Williams rushed two times for five yards in the Chiefs' Super Bowl LV loss to the Bucs, adding two receptions for 10 additional yards.

Williams played ahead of Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the AFC Championship Game but took a backseat tonight. 25 of Williams? 57 regular season touches came after December 1. CEH's (hip, ankle) health was the impetus, but Williams then maintained backfield supremacy headed into the playoffs, totaling 31 touches between the Divisional Round and AFC Championship Game. He blew by faded veteran Le?Veon Bell on the depth chart. Williams is trusted in pass protection and can catch a pass or two. Two months shy of his 26th birthday, Williams is headed to restricted free agency. We would have to imagine he is brought back as trusted depth for coach Andy Reid.
