NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf had a throwing session over the weekend.

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said of a Micah Parsons extension “the deal is going to get done.”

31 March 2025

Schottenheimer adds that the Cowboys “like deals done sooner rather than later,” despite evidence to the contrary. When asked directly if Parsons could end up playing elsewhere in 2025, Schottenheimer said, “I wouldn’t think so,” and referred to Parsons as “an elite player” who “can wreak havoc on opposing offenses.” Here’s to hoping the Cowboys get this deal done before it becomes more of a distraction than it already is.

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell complimented J.J. McCarthy’s development in his “pseudo-redshirt year.”

31 March 2025

O’Connell praised McCarthy for becoming a locker room leader and “energizer” despite McCarthy’s being sidelined by a torn meniscus for the 2024 NFL season. O’Connell noted McCarthy’s valuable participation in game preparation last year while highlighting the intriguing traits McCarthy flashed in the preseason. O’Connell emphasized McCarthy’s “ability to throw the ball in windows over the middle of the field” and his “historical” efficiency in converting on third down with ...

Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi said “I was taught over the years, if you find the quarterback that you want, and you think he’s a franchise quarterback, then you’re not going to pass on him.”

31 March 2025

While this outcome has seemed obvious to some from the jump, it is worth remembering that early mock drafts frequently listed Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter as the Titans’ presumed pick. Brian Callahan reportedly said “I think anytime you can find a quarterback that can lift your football team and that you feel is the caliber of player you’re talking about, those guys are worth more – there is really no price on those guys.” If the Titans identify a franchise quarterback in the 2025 NFL ...

Browns general manager Andrew Berry told reporters that he expects RG Wyatt Teller to be on the roster this season.

31 March 2025

This despite Cleveland’s recent signing of Teven Jenkins. The Browns’ offensive line was hit hard by injuries last season, and both Teller (30 years old) and incumbent LG Joel Bitonio (33 years old) are scheduled to hit free agency next offseason. The 27-year-old Jenkins received a one-year, $3.05 million prove-it deal, giving him the chance to earn a multi-year contract as either Teller or Bitonio’s replacement. Jenkins has experience playing both left guard and right guard. Teller has de ...

Bills general manager Brandon Beane told reporters that he does not see them “getting something done anytime soon” on a potential James Cook extension.

31 March 2025

Beane adds that signing Cook to a new deal “before he’s a free agent” in 2026 is still possible, but it sounds like contract talks have officially been tabled for now. Cook and his camp previously attempted to negotiate through public means, including a social media post in which Cook requested $15 million per year. The Bills probably aren’t going to pay a back who they don’t use on all three downs that kind of money, though it’s possible a huge 2025 could change their minds.

SNY’s Connor Hughes said that is “sounds like” extension talks for Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson will be a “post-draft topic” for the Jets.

31 March 2025

The Jets drafted Wilson (No. 10 overall) and Gardner (No. 4 overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft, both players will almost assuredly have their fifth-year options picked up. That means the Jets will be negotiating from a position of strength with two years of rights in hand. There were trade rumors around Wilson late last season, but they seem to have dissipated since the team parted ways with Aaron Rodgers. We expect these talks to drag out through the remainder of the offseason as extension talks of ...

Browns general manager Andrew Berry said it’s “unlikely” they’ll trade up for the Titans’ No. 1 overall pick.

31 March 2025

Berry then added that all possibilities remain open with the No. 2 pick and that Abdul Carter’s stress fracture in his foot wouldn’t prohibit them from drafting him. One possible read here is that Berry is hoping his comments spur another team to pay up for the right to draft Carter. The Browns desperately need a long-term solution at quarterback, and if they won’t trade up for Ward, they may eschew Shedeur Sanders and see what they can do later in the draft.

Speaking to Omaha Productions’ Kevin Clark, Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell complimented J.J. McCarthy’s development in his “pseudo-redshirt year.”

31 March 2025

O’Connell praised McCarthy for becoming a locker room leader and “energizer” despite McCarthy’s being sidelined by a torn meniscus for the 2024 NFL season. Ravens signed head coach John Harbaugh to a three-year contract extension through 2028.

31 March 2025

Harbaugh’s current deal was set to expire after the upcoming season. The 62-year-old head coach has guided the Ravens to double-digit regular season wins in each of the last three seasons. The team has advanced to the AFC Championship Game once during that span while making the playoffs each year, resulting in a 2-3 postseason record. This will be Harbaugh’s 18th season with the Ravens.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin indicated that the team’s starting quarterback will ideally be named before training camp begins in July.

31 March 2025

Specifically, Tomlin said that “training camp would kind of be a line of demarcation.” Reporters peppered Tomlin with inquiries about a decision-making deadline for Aaron Rodgers. Tomlin predictably stonewalled most questions but, per beat reporter Mike Kaboly, indicated that “it’s OK for Rodgers to miss OTAs and minicamp.”

ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi reports that Browns DT Mike Hall Jr. underwent offseason surgery after suffering a Week 18 knee injury.

31 March 2025

Per Oyefusi, “the injury likely will keep Hall out of the offseason workout program.” He will likely be sidelined until the Browns begin training camp in July. The 21-year-old Hall appeared in eight games last season after the Browns selected him in the 2024 NFL Draft’s second round. Despite the abbreviated season, Hall compares favorably to his classmates. Among 2024 rookie DTs with at least 15 tackles, he ties for fifth with four tackles for loss or no gain. Both his 10.8 percent pass-ru ...

Speaking with Paul Kuharsky, Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi and head coach Brian Callahan said that if the Titans identify a franchise quarterback prospect, they will draft that player with the No. 1 overall pick.

While this outcome has seemed obvious to some from the jump, it is worth remembering that early mock drafts frequently listed Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter as the Titans’ presumed pick. Borgonzi reportedly told Kuharsky that he was taught, “if you find the quarterback that you want, and you think he’s a franchise quarterback, then you’re not going to pass on him.” Callahan echoed the sentiment by saying that “there is really no price on those guys,” meaning if the Titans identify a ...

Tyreek Hill again hinted at his demand to be traded from the Dolphins via social media on Sunday.

30 March 2025

Responding to social media posts relating to potential trade scenarios, Hill again gave the impression that he would prefer to play elsewhere in 2025. Hill has publicly flip-flopped on his trade-request stance since early January. While the Dolphins would certainly prefer to have Hill on the roster, the front office may be forced to weigh the benefits of trading him away, should Hill continue in this regard. The veteran receiver has two seasons remaining on his contract.

Speaking to reporters about a possible contract extension for James Cook, Bills general manager Brandon Beane told reporters that he does not see them “getting something done anytime soon” and that the Bills are now “onto the draft.”

Beane adds that signing Cook to a new deal “before he’s a free agent” in 2026 is still possible, but it sounds like contract talks have officially been tabled for now. Cook and his camp previously attempted to negotiate through public means, including a social media post in which Cook requested $15 million per year.

Browns general manager Andrew Berry told reporters that he expects RG Wyatt Teller to be on the roster this season, despite recently signing free agent OG Teven Jenkins.

Cleveland’s Mary Kay Cabot reports that Browns general manager Andrew Berry “that it’s ‘unlikely’ they’ll trade up to No. 1 with the Titans to draft Cam Ward.”

30 March 2025

Berry then added that “all possibilities remain open with the No. 2 pick and that they’re still doing their diligence” and that “Abdul Carter’s stress fracture in his foot wouldn’t prohibit them from drafting him.” One possible read here is that Berry is hoping his comments spur another team to pay up for the right to draft Carter. Specifically, pouring cold water on the idea of drafting Ward is odd, though. The Browns desperately need a long-term solution at quarterback.

SNY’s Connor Hughes said that is “sounds like extension talks for Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson will be a post-draft topic” for the Jets.

30 March 2025

The Jets drafted Wilson (No. 10 overall) and Gardner (No. 4 overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft, which means both players are scheduled to hit free agency after the 2025 NFL season. Both players can be retained for the 2026 NFL season via their first-round contract’s fifth-year option, but the deadline to activate the option is May 1st. The 2025 NFL Draft takes place April 24th-April 26th. Jets general manager Darren Mougey can, of course, continue long-term negotiations after activating the option ...
