Ragnow and linebacker Alex Anzalone were the only players not in attendance for this week’s OTAs. While Anzalone has made it clear with social media posts that he’s unhappy with his contract situation, it appears that Ragnow also wants a new deal. A potential deal was first reported by Adam Schefter on Friday, with the weekend providing enough time for the two sides to come to an agreement. Once one of the top units in the league, the 49ers have undergone significant change along the defensive live, including drafting two expected starters in this year’s draft in addition to the deal for Huff. The current expectation for Huff is that of a pass rush specialist after 64 percent of his snaps last season came in such situations.

It’s hard to imagine an instant path to playing time and fantasy value for Hunter behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, but after the Rams traded up for him in the fourth round he’ll likely have an inside track to a roster spot this year. Bitonio, 33, has mulled retirement in the past, but the long-time Brown refuses to say when he’ll officially call it quits. He did shoot down any ideas of a retirement tour, however, as he prepares for what will be his 12th NFL season.
