Pat Surtain (pec) will not play in Week 10 against the Raiders.

05 November 2025

No surprise here as the Broncos are expected to be without Surtain for a few weeks. He suffered a pec strain in Week 8 and has yet to return to practice. His absence will make things a bit easier for Geno Smith and company on Thursday.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports free agent CB Asante Samuel Jr. will visit the Panthers, Packers, Vikings, 49ers, Bears, and Steelers.

05 November 2025

Samuel Jr.'s Carolina visit was reported this morning. He is now up to six visits lined up for the next week, all with teams above .500 in the win-loss column. Samuel Jr. was recently medically cleared after undergoing spinal fusion surgery in the offseason. He is now free to sign with any team and should be back on the field after he gets up to speed with his new squad.

49ers QB Brock Purdy (toe) was limited on Wednesday.

05 November 2025

This is just what Purdy does these days. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters last week that Purdy had a chance to be active as a backup in Week 9 against the Giants. He was instead declared inactive before kickoff. It remains to be seen when he will return, though he will likely need to practice in full, repeatedly, before doing so.

Ollie Gordon (ankle) was limited in Wednedsay’s practice.

05 November 2025

Gordon tweaked his ankle in Week 9 against the Ravens. The good news is that the game took place on Thursday night, giving Gordon the mini-bye to recover. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport called him “day to day” after the game. All signs point to Gordon suiting up on Sunday, including his limited practice for the first session of Week 10. Gordon is purely a two-down backup, and the Dolphins have rarely gotten the chance to establish the run this year. That won’t change versus the Bills, making ...

49ers WR Ricky Pearsall (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.

05 November 2025

Pearsall’s PCL sprain continues to be a problem. The 49ers’ early-season star has not practiced since suffering the injury in Week 4, and yet, the team has chosen not to place him on injured reserve. Pearsall technically has a chance to play if he can practice later this week, but it seems likely we will revisit his availability on Wednesday, next week.

Browns WR Cedric Tillman (hamstring) is practicing in full for Week 10 against the Jets.

05 November 2025

Tillman is now on track to play this weekend. Projecting the Browns’ impending target shares is challenging. TEs David Njoku and Harold Fannin Jr. should continue operating as a featured duo, while WR Jerry Jeudy gator-arms targets on the perimeter. Tillman has a chance to overtake the latter player in the pecking order, who has caught just 42.3 percent of his team-high 52 targets. Whether overtaking Jeudy earns Tillman FLEX consideration is a separate issue. He can be stashed in deep leagues, ...

Browns WR Isaiah Bond (foot) did not practice on Wednesday.

05 November 2025

Bond has not caught a pass since Week 6 despite briefly being talked up by the coaching staff. The rookie wide receiver does not need to be rostered in 12-team re-draft leagues, particularly with WR Cedric Tillman (hamstring) expectedly returning from injured reserve.

Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez (concussion) is practicing in full for Week 10 against the Bucs.

05 November 2025

Gonzalez left Week 9’s game against the Falcons for a concussion check. A full practice means he will be good to go for Week 10 against the Bucs. Gonzalez will likely be tasked with covering Emeka Egbuka this week.

Browns RB Quinshon Judkins (shoulder) is practicing in full for Week 10 against the Jets and is not listed on the team’s injury report.

05 November 2025

Reports rightly indicated that Judkins had decent odds of returning to action following the Browns’ Week 9 bye after suffering an AC joint sprain in Week 8 against the Patriots. The Browns’ featured rusher will be on the field this weekend and can be started as a borderline RB1/2 against a Jets defense that recently traded away game-wrecking DT Quinnen Williams.

Theo Johnson (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

05 November 2025

It’s likely a maintenance day for the second-year tight end. He caught his fifth touchdown of the season on Sunday in the Giants’ loss to the 49ers. Backup tight end Daniel Bellinger (neck) practiced in full. He should be back for Week 10, though that won’t affect Johnson’s fantasy outlook. Johnson has been a red zone favorite of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, making him a touchdown-based TE2.

Mason Taylor (quad) is practicing in full for Week 10 against the Browns.

05 November 2025

Taylor was playing through the quad issue before the Jets’ Week 9 bye. A full practice suggests it’s a non-issue for the rookie at this point. With Garrett Wilson likely back this week, Taylor’s days as the Jets’ de facto WR1 are likely at an end. He will be a mid-range TE2 versus the Browns.

Seahawks WR Rashid Shaheed told reporters that he views Seattle as his “long-term home,” saying he is “here to stay.”

05 November 2025

Shaheed is scheduled to enter free agency at the end of this season, so if Seahawks general manager John Schneider wants to keep him here long-term, a contract extension will soon be needed. Shaheed’s comments are easy for one to make before negotiations have begun, at which point, his advanced age (27) for a player coming off a rookie contract could be held against him. Regardless, the Seahawks acquired Shaheed with a vision in mind, reuniting him with his former OC, Klint Kubiak. Questions r ...

Alvin Kamara (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

05 November 2025

Kamara has been playing through the ankle issue for a few weeks. A limited session on Wednesday is standard fare for him. He should be good to go for Week 10’s game against the Panthers. With his efficiency on the decline and his pass-catching role falling off the map, Kamara is barely an RB3 versus Carolina.

Colts CB Sauce Gardner (concussion) is practicing in full for Week 10 against the Falcons.

05 November 2025

Earlier today, Colts head coach Shane Steichen told reporters that Gardner would practice despite remaining in the concussion protocol. Clarification on his expected participation level could have saved everyone time, but alas, the competitive advantage gained by obfuscation reigns supreme. Gardner is now on track to play in Week 10 against the Falcons, barring a setback.

Giants K Graham Gano (neck) did not practice Wednesday.

05 November 2025

Gano missed a month early in the year with a groin issue. He returned in Week 8 and is 3-of-4 on his field goal tries since being activated from injured reserve. The injury plus a shaky Week 9 will likely be enough for the Giants to sit him for at least a week. Younghoe Koo, currently on the team’s practice squad, would be the next man up.

Luther Burden (concussion) is practicing in full for Week 10 against the Giants.

05 November 2025

Burden missed Week 9 with the brain injury. A full practice to open the week means he should be able to clear the league’s concussion protocol ahead of the Bears’ upcoming matchup with the Giants. Burden isn’t on the fantasy radar unless one of Rome Odunze or DJ Moore, both of whom were held out of practice today, misses Week 10.

Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (glute) did not practice on Wednesday.

05 November 2025

Pittman notably practiced in full, with a glute injury, throughout Week 2. He suited up on game day that week, catching 4-of-5 targets for 40 yards against the Broncos. Pittman plays through injury whenever he is medically cleared to do so, famously playing much of the 2024 season with a fracture in his back. His practice participation is worth following this week, though.

D’Andre Swift (groin) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

05 November 2025

Kyle Monangai was limited with an ankle injury, though that is likely a precautionary measure by the Bears. Swift had been playing through the groin issue for weeks before it finally caught up with him ahead of Week 9. He failed to practice once and the team ruled him out before the weekend. Monangai drew the start and ran 26 times for 176 yards, easily besting Swift’s high-water mark for the year. The breakout performance could flip the backfield split for Week 10, or Ben Johnson could revert ...

Cardinals placed QB Kyler Murray on injured reserve with a foot injury.

05 November 2025

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the “Cardinals say this will give Murray the chance to focus on rehabbing his foot injury and that he is committed to getting back as soon as possible.” Should Murray actually return as soon as possible, it would be against the Rams in Week 14, after he sits out the requisite four games missed on injured reserve. Whether he would return to the team in a starting role is a separate issue. The injured reserve listing coincidentally comes after the team announced jou ...

DJ Moore (groin/hip) did not practice Wednesday.

05 November 2025

Moore doesn’t practice on Wednesdays anymore as he nurses the hip and groin issues. This shouldn;t be taken as a sign that he is going to miss Week 10, but fantasy managers will still want to check in on the Bears’ final injury report on Friday. Assuming things go a planned, Moore will clock in as a low-end WR3 for Week 10 versus the Giants.
