ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi reports that Browns DT Mike Hall Jr. underwent offseason surgery after suffering a Week 18 knee injury.

Per Oyefusi, “the injury likely will keep Hall out of the offseason workout program.” He will likely be sidelined until the Browns begin training camp in July. The 21-year-old Hall appeared in eight games last season after the Browns selected him in the 2024 NFL Draft’s second round. Despite the abbreviated season, Hall compares favorably to his classmates. Among 2024 rookie DTs with at least 15 tackles, he ties for fifth with four tackles for loss or no gain. Both his 10.8 percent pass-rush win rate and 10.2 percent quarterback pressure rate likewise rank top three among 2024 rookie DTs with at least 100 pass-rushing snaps.
