The explosive Overshown underwent surgery after a serious knee injury ended his 2024 season in early December. The versatile linebacker has a chance to return to the Dallas lineup sometime around midseason, a needed boost for the Cowboys defense. Before suffering the knee injury, Overshown had 84 tackles, 5 sacks, one interception, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, eight tackles for loss, and one defensive touchdown in 2024.
