NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports the Colts will host Texas QB Quinn Ewers for a visit on Wednesday

Ewers had a formal interview with the team during the NFL Scouting Combine, so it appears the Colts have serious interest in the second team All-Big 12 selection with the NFL Draft just weeks away. Ewers, 22, is projected as a Day Three pick and could sit behind Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson on the depth chart. Wherever he lands, Ewers — who went 27-9 at Texas — is likely to be a backup at best.
