ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports WR Jalen Coker (quad) was placed on injured reserve.

Coker was looking like a great late-round receiver option with the Panthers trading Adam Thielen and recent reports that Coker would primarily work out of the slot. Now the 23-year-old receiver will be out for at least four games after being placed on injured reserve with a quad injury. While the Panthers have signed Hunter Renfrow to the active roster, Xavier Legette is the most likely to benefit from Coker’s absence as the Panthers’ WR2.
