Back-to-back limited practices is a good step for the star left tackle as he tries to finally be active for Week 3. The Giants seem optimistic that he will return soon, but Friday will tell the tale of if it will happen on Sunday — rookie Marcus Mbow would likely replace James Hudson at left tackle if Thomas isn’t up to the task.
