Commanders coach Dan Quinn ruled Jayden Daniels (hamstring) out for Week 8.

Quinn said the team would re-evaluate Daniels next week but wanted to see Marcus Mariota get as many practice reps as possible. The reports from earlier in the week were true, sadly. It does sound like Daniels has a chance to play in Week 9, but we’d start him on the questionable line for that week given how quick this rule-out came and the fact that he didn’t even try to test it in practice.
