Trey Benson (knee) was not seen at Wednesday’s practice.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon was noncommittal when asked about Benson’s status. The young back appeared to be nearing a return from injured reserve last week, but he was downgraded to a DNP on Thursday and was ruled out the following day after another missed practice. It’s possible he suffered a setback during practice. Needless to say, it doesn’t look like he will be back in the lineup this week. Emari Demercado was back at practice today, giving him a shot to suit up on Sunday after missing last week’s game with an ankle injury.
