Head coach Dan Quinn told reporters earlier this week that Daniels has not yet been cleared for contact. He was, however, “ripping” throws, in Quinn’s own words. Daniels may need to be upgraded to a full participant in practice before getting the green light to return to action. Marcus Mariota will draw the start versus Minnesota if Daniels remains out. Mariota would be a mid-range QB2 once again.
