Chris Rodriguez rushed 10 times for 52 yards in the Commanders’ Week 14 loss to the Vikings.

Rodriguez continues to look like the Commanders’ best running back. The third-year pro got the ball on the team’s opening drive and strung together a respectable 4-32-0 line to help get the Commanders down to the Vikings’ two-yard line. Unfortunately, the Commanders opted to go with three straight passes to try to put the ball in the end zone, with the final attempt ending with a dropped pass by Deebo Samuel. Given that Jacory Croskey-Merritt didn’t see his first snaps until late in the third-quarter, it’s clear that Rodriguez is the lead back in Washington. That said, he’ll be a touchdown-dependent RB3 in Week 15’s game against the Giants.
