NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Commanders have signed OL Nick Allegretti to a new two-year contract.

Allegretti was set to enter the final year of a three-year deal he signed in 2024. Now, the veteran guard and three-time Super Bowl champ will remain under contract with the Commanders through the 2027 season. Allegretti played primarily as a backup last season, starting four of the 16 games he appeared in. That said, he made two starts at center and with the recent release of Tyler Biadasz, it’s possible Allegretti could slot in as the full-time center for the Commanders in 2026.
