Texans signed OT Trent Brown to a one-year contract extension.

05 March 2026

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal is worth “up to” $7 million. Brown was released by Houston at the end of training camp last year. The team kept him around on the practice squad and ultimately put him on the active roster during the second half of the season. He went on to make eight starts, including the playoffs, and received solid grades from Pro Football Focus. With fellow right tackle Tytus Howard traded to Cleveland, Brown is in line to take on that gig full-time for 2026.
