Jets exercised the exclusive rights free agent tenders on DT Jowon Briggs and LB Marcelino McCrary-Ball.

The Jets acquired Briggs and a 2026 seventh-round pick from the Browns in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick. It is safe to say he exceeded expectations. Both his 38 quarterback pressures and four sacks ranked second on the team last season. He turns 25 on September 1st. McCrary-Ball chipped in 17 solo tackles last year. The Jets also re-signed TE Jelani Woods. He caught 1-of-2 targets for four yards last year.
