According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, this “simple restructure” will reduce Banks’ 2026 cap hit down to $24.8 million. Banks, who was drafted in the second round by the Packers back in 2021, signed a four-year contract with the team last offseason and is under contract through 2028. The five-year vet started 14 of the 15 games he appeared in for the Packers in 2025.
