Raiders agreed to terms with LB Quay Walker, formerly of the Packers, on a three-year, $40.5 million contract.
09 March 2026
Walker’s deal includes $28 million guaranteed, according to
ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Walker spent the past four seasons starting 57-of-58 games for the Packers after being selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Green Bay declined his fifth-year option and could not get a new contract together; Walker now heads to a Raiders team with the exorbitant amount of money needed to sign as many free agents as possible. The 25-year-old has nine career sacks and 469 combined tackles under his belt. He ranks middle-of-the-pack in coverage and as a run defender throughout his career, though PFF graded him outside the top-60 linebackers in both run defense and coverage grades for 2025. Walker has the opportunity to be a plug-and-play starter in the middle of the Raiders defense moving forward.
