Commanders re-signed RB Jeremy McNichols to a one-year contract.

McNichols is the third running back to sign with Washington in recent days. The 30-year-old vet has been used sparingly over the last two seasons with the Commanders, but has totaled 705 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns on 133 touches. It seems highly unlikely that McNichols would beat out Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Rachaad White, or Jerome Ford on the running back depth chart, meaning he could be more of a camp body unless the Commanders opt to keep four running backs on the roster.
