J.C. Tretter was elected as the NFL Players Association Executive Director.

The Board of Player Representatives elected Tretter as the NFLPA’s fifth executive director. He served as the NFLPA’s president from 2020-2024 and was the union’s chief strategy officer under former NFLPA Executive Director Lloyd Howell. Tretter resigned from this role last year after Howell resigned amid an expense-report scandal. Tretter is now back as the new Executive Director of the NFLPA.
