Saints re-signed EDGE Chris Rumph II.

Rumph entered the NFL as a 2021 fourth-round pick with the Chargers, then led by former head coach Brandon Staley. Rumph, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending foot injury in November 2023 and an undisclosed season-ending injury in August 2024. After the Saints hired Staley as their new defensive coordinator in 2025, they reunited the pair by signing Rumph. He notched career highs in solo tackles (33) and TFLs (six) while totaling 11 quarterback pressures and two sacks.
