Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said he expects Mason Taylor to make a big step and anticipates “a hell of a year.”

Taylor missed the final five weeks of the season with a neck injury, but it sounds like that won’t be an issue going forward based on this update. Taylor had as many as 12 targets in a game last year, and hit eight a few other times, but caught just one touchdown. Still, given how up-and-down Adonai Mitchell has been, it wouldn’t be a complete shock if Taylor had some usable TE1 lines in 2026. He probably enters the year in more of the high-end TE2 tier.
