The Athletic’s Nicki Jhabvala reports that the NFL suspended Commanders DE Dorance Armstrong for the first game of the regular season.

The league has ruled that Armstrong violated the league’s Personal Conduct Policy. Armstrong, 29, suffered a season-ending knee injury in October last year. He currently projects as a rotational edge rusher in Washington.
