NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports that multiple teams around the NFL “have wondered about” Steelers CB Joey Porter as a potential trade target.

The Steelers placed Porter on the physically unable to perform list with a back injury late in July. Very little information on him has come out since then. The 26-year-old cornerback is entering the final year of his contract, and a prior report indicates he is seeking an extension averaging $30 million per year. Perhaps another team will be willing to meet that number if the Steelers aren’t.
