Chris Bell didn’t catch his only target in a Week 2 loss to the 49ers.

It’s been a slow start to the season for Bell, who played on 21 of Miami’s 56 snaps and ran a route on 11 of their 30 dropbacks. That being said, many people expected Bell to start the season on the PUP list after tearing his ACL last year in college. The fact that he was healthy for Week 1 and was allegedly not on a snap count caused us to maybe get our hopes up too quickly. The 22-year-old is a talented receiver and could likely end the season as the Dolphins’ best option, but he’s going to take some time to build up to the role.
