Jayden Daniels (elbow) underwent imaging and he and the team will “consult with a variety of experts” over the next few days.

We’re not likely to hear much on the long-term status of Daniels this week — maybe something breaks by Thursday or Friday — but it is very clear he won’t be starting again in the short-term. Gathering a variety of medical opinions rather than relying on the team doctor is, more often than not, a predecessor to some sort of surgery. It would be hasty to say that’s where this is headed, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it wound up that way given how bad the injury looked on the field.
