He’ll miss at least four weeks. Smith had only really been playing special teams. It leaves the Jets with only three wideouts on their 53-man roster following Omar Cooper’s IR placement in Week 1. Tyler Johnson and Sterling Shepard are in line to be elevated off the practice squad for depth in Week 3.
