Steelers CB Brandin Echols has entered the league’s concussion protocol.

Echols was injured in Week 3’s win over the Bengals and did not return to the field. Given the short turnaround time for the Steelers to prepare for Thursday’s game against the Browns, Echols is a virtual lock to miss Week 4, but could return in time for Week 5’s game when the Steelers play host to the Colts. Echols has played primarily on special teams this season and has logged only 13 snaps on defense, per PFF.
