Reserve Giants QB Alex Tanney is retiring after nine seasons.

The 33-year-old recently signed a reserve/future contract but has decided to hang up his cleats after failing to see the field in 2020. A true journeyman backup, Tanney retires with 15 career attempts to his name, 14 of which came with the Titans in 2015. A 2012 UDFA, it's miraculous Tanney lasted as long as he did.
