After Bears head coach Matt Nagy wouldn't commit to Andy Dalton (knee) as the team's starter, a PR official said Dalton is the team's starting QB when healthy.

Nagy on Monday morning fudged his answer when asked if Dalton is Chicago's starter when fully healthy. "That?s something that I?m not going to get into with scheme," Nagy said. The team then dispatched its PR apparatus to clear up any confusion created by Nagy. Dalton -- who reportedly avoided a major knee injury in Week 2 -- apparently will start over Justin Fields if he's able to suit up in Week 3 against the Browns. Nagy is steadfastly committed to rolling with Dalton for as long as he possibly can. It's a bold strategy.
