The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein reports the Bears made an offer to Packers QBs coach/passing game coordinator Luke Getsy to become its offensive coordinator.

28 January 2022

"It's his job if he wants" Silverstein adds. Promoted to his current role in March 2020, Getsy has arguably had as much success in owning the Bears as Aaron Rodgers has had in that time. Getsy also has vast experience as an offensive play-caller and WRs coach both at the collegiate level (with Mississippi State in 2018) and the NFL, coaching Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams in their time with the Packers. Pep Hamilton could also latch onto Chicago's staff as a co-OC if Getsy gives the go-ahead.
