Bengals coach Zac Taylor said "We're counting on [Jonah Williams]" to come in and "compete at right tackle for us."

Williams requested a trade following the signing of Orlando Brown to play left tackle, but it doesn't appear the Bengals are in any rush to grant one based on Taylor's statements. "Hopefully, we can work through this ... every step of the way over four years he?s done everything we?ve asked him to do," Taylor added. Williams is entering his walk year on the fifth-year option and this might be something that gets smoothed over with an extension.
