Steelers placed Diontae Johnson (hamstring) on injured reserve.

Johnson said last week that he viewed himself as “day-to-day” with his injury, but the Steelers clearly think otherwise. Now on injured reserve, Johnson will miss the Steelers next four contests and won’t be eligible to return until Week 7 when the Steelers face the Rams. George Pickens, Allen Robinson, and Calvin Austin all stand to benefit from Johnson’s absence, but Monday night’s contest against the Browns will give us a clearer picture of how the team plans to distribute targets. Johnson would be eligible to return in Week 6 but that falls on the team’s bye week.
