Young also added a pair of rushes for 34 yards. Though the scoreboard says Carolina lost by a small margin, it wasn’t a particularly close game. The Saints defense sat in prevent coverage on Carolina’s final drive, allowing Young to march down the field and find Adam Thielen for a touchdown. He also connected with Thielen for a two-point conversion. A failed onside kick ended the Panthers’ hopes of a miraculous comeback. Young struggled to diagnose pressure and couldn’t build any chemistry with his receivers outside of the 33-year-old Thielen. Young is only worth rostering in Superflex leagues as the Panthers head to Seattle for Week 3.
