Bailey Zappe completed 4-of-9 passes for 57 yards in the Patriots’ 38-3, Week 4 loss to the Cowboys.

Zappe came on late in the second quarter in relief of Mac Jones after the game was well out of hand. The backup quarterback didn’t fare much better in his outing, but also didn’t turn the ball over three times. Bill Belichick re-committed to Jones after the game, saying there was no point in leaving him in the game at the time he was pulled.
