ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reports there is a “strong belief by some in the league” the Giants covet UNC QB Drake Maye.

Sitting at No. 6, the Giants are one of the teams with the most realistic means of trading into the top four — almost certainly at No. 4 via Arizona — but landing Maye would require either the Patriots or Commanders wanting J.J. McCarthy, making Maye the QB4 after Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and McCarthy. They also figure to face trade up competition from the Vikings, amongst others. Maye ending up in the Big Apple is far from implausible, but it is not the most likely outcome.
