Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell told reporters that Jordan Addison has “pretty significant soreness” in his right ankle.

Addison left Sunday’s Week 1 win over the Giants with an ankle injury in the third quarter. O’Connell said that the team will be “smart” with Addison, but noted that he did heal quickly from the ankle issue he had over the summer. Addison hasn’t been rule out for Week 2 against the 49ers, but it would be surprising if the second-year wideout played in that contest.
