Jones also lost a fumble on a T.J. Watt strip-sack in the fourth quarter with the team driving to potentially equalize. The New York defense would force a three-and-out to get the ball back for another opportunity to draw the score even until Jones threw an interception to end the game. Jones honed in on Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton, feeding the top duo 20 targets on his 38 pass attempts, ultimately failing to throw for a touchdown for the fifth time in eight games and all three of his last times out. The Giants fall to 2-6 with the loss before hosting the Commanders in Week 9, where their offense has scored only one touchdown all season.
