Chiefs CB Kristian Fulton (knee) practiced in full on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Fulton spent a little over two weeks on the active/physically unable to perform list this summer. He’s been practicing with the team since August 7th, though. Fulton notched five pass breakups and one interception, playing for the Chargers last year. He should be available for his new team’s bout with the Bolts on Friday night. Chiefs OT Jawaan Taylor (knee) is practicing in full this week.

Marvin Mims (thigh) is practicing in full for Week 1 against the Titans.

03 September 2025

Mims suffered a groin injury in practice last week. It’s unclear if his current thigh injury is related or something new, though it hardly matters. A full practice for the first session of the week locks him in for Week 1. Mims ran a full complement of routes during the preseason, something he has yet to do in the NFL, even during his breakout over the second half of the 2024 season. A full-time role could elevate him from a boom/bust WR5 to a true WR3 if he can keep generating splash plays.

Broncos LB Dre Greenlaw (quad) did not practice Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Head coach Sean Payton has already said the team is being conservative with their approach to Greenlaw’s practice regimen. The 28-year-old linebacker suffered a torn quad while working out in the offseason and recently suffered a new quad injury, which Payton says is unrelated. Expect the veteran linebacker to be on a pitch count if he is active for Week 1. Greenlaw missed most of 2024 with an Achilles injury but totaled 120 tackles, five TFLs, and four pass breakups as a starter for the 49ers ...

Marquise Brown (ankle) practiced in full on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Brown’s ankle is holding up nicely. The veteran wide receiver should have a role in both two- and three-wide receiver sets, though he will likely be stuck behind Xavier Worthy and Travis Kelce in the pecking order. Brown draws FLEX consideration for the matchup.

Ravens signed S J.T. Gray, formerly of the Saints.

03 September 2025

Gray rarely sees the field on defense but is a special teams ace. He logged over 300 special teams snaps for five consecutive seasons with the Saints before being a surprise cut at the end of training camp this year. Gray’s 14 special teams tackles were second-most in the league last season.

Buccaneers RB Sean Tucker (hand) fully practiced on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Tucker is good to go for Week 1. The 23-year-old running back has flashed intriguing traits at times, though he remains stuck in the Buccaneers’ No. 3 role. If Bucky Irving were to miss time, Tucker would be flex-viable, serving as the likely lead rusher in Tampa Bay’s potent offense.

Lions worked out free agent QB C.J. Beathard on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

The Lions also worked out free agent QB Nathan Peterman. Ironically, the Jets worked out the same duo on August 14th. The Lions currently have just two quarterbacks between their active roster and practice squad.

Buccaneers DT Vita Vea (foot) did not practice on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Vea, 30, has built an extension lower-body injury record over the last two years. He dealt with a recurring calf issue in 2023, a worked through both knee (MCL) and hamstring issues last year. The towering (6'4/347) nose tackle remains a game changer whenever he’s on the field and he regularly plays through injuries. Buccaneers S Christian Izien (oblique) was also sidelined Wednesday.

Saints coach Kellen Moore said EDGE Chase Young suffered a calf injury in Wednesday’s practice.

03 September 2025

Young was officially listed as limited for the first practice of the year, though that’s presumably because he left the session early. Moore downplayed the severity of the injury after practice, but Young’s status on Thursday will be more revealing. Young totaled 5.5 sacks and one forced fumble in his first year as a Saint in 2024. He was looking to build on that momentum after re-signing with the team during the offseason, though this calf issue could throw a wrench in those plans.

Buccaneers TE Cade Otton (groin) was limited on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Otton is on track to suit up against the Falcons on Sunday, but practicing in full on Friday would go a long way toward solidifying his status as a TE2 with touchdown-based upside in what could be a back-and-forth game script. The Buccaneers will be without Chris Godwin (ankle) and Jalen McMillan (neck).

Saints LG Trevor Penning (toe) did not practice Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Penning suffered a turf toe injury during training camp and was spotted in a boot for a few weeks. He shed the boot last week but has yet to resume practice, all but ruling him out for Week 1 already. Penning was set to start at left guard this year after switching from tackle to guard in the offseason. Dillon Radunz will likely take his place in the lineup for Week 1 versus the Cardinals. Penning was the only Saint unable to practice in some capacity on Wednesday.

Saints head coach Kellen Moore said Alvin Kamara will get the bulk of the work in the run game.

03 September 2025

Moore has talked up Kamara all offseason so this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. His backups are currently rookie Devin Neal and third-year back Kendre Miller. Neither back generated much buzz in training camp and fantasy managers should expect both to be used sparingly to start the year. Kamara will likely open the year as a top-five fantasy back. Whether he can sustain that production down the stretch is another question, but that’s a problem for another week.

Tyreek Hill (oblique/calf) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

03 September 2025

Head coach Mike McDaniel said last week that Hill “looks great” for Week 1. Though it’s not ideal to see him start the season with a pair of injuries, Hill will be on the field when Miami kicks off versus the Colts. Hill is looking for a rebound campaign following a disastrous 2024 that saw him fall below 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2019. Week 1 will give fantasy managers loads of info on how to view the Dolphins for the remainder of the season. Hill will look like one o ...

Packers QB Jordan Love (left thumb) was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

03 September 2025

Love is on track to suit up for the Packers’ Week 1 game against the Lions, in what could be a high-scoring affair. Thankfully, Love’s injury is to his non-throwing hand, so it will not impact his throwing motion. Love spent the early portion of 2024 playing through a knee injury. It is possible the Packers increase their passing volume a tad this season, with Love’s mobility no longer impacted. He’s a borderline QB1/2.

De’Von Achane (calf) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

03 September 2025

Achane went down with the calf injury a few weeks ago, but his absence from practice was always said to be precautionary. A limited session to open Week 1’s practices backs that up and puts him on track to play on Sunday versus the Colts. With Jaylen Wright not expected to suit up, Achane will be spelled by rookie Ollie Gordon. Though Gordon should see a handful of carries, Achane is in line to handle the bulk of the backfield touches to start the year, putting him firmly in the RB1 ranks for ...

Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks (calf) was limited on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Wicks appears to be truly questionable for the Packers’ Week 1 game against the Lions. He picked up the injury at the end of July and was allowed to return after just two days off. The issue again forced him from practice in mid-August, and it apparently remains an issue heading into the season’s opening weekend. The Packers could be thin at wide receiver this weekend, clearing the way for rookie Matthew Golden to secure a starting role. Christian Watson (knee) is sidelined for at least four ...

Dolphins TE Darren Waller (hip) did not practice Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Waller came out of retirement to play for the Dolphins after they traded away Jonnu Smith early in the offseason. the age-32 tight end was initially placed on the PUP list to allow him to get back into football shape before practicing. Now it appears as though he is dealing with an actual injury, though head coach Mike McDaniel said earlier this week that Waller is on track to play in Week 1. Still, the lack of practice and Waller’s lack of live reps over the past year make him a clear stay-aw ...

Colts WR Josh Downs (hamstring) is not on the injury report and will play in Week 1 against the Dolphins.

03 September 2025

Downs suffered a hamstring injury during a practice in mid-August and missed multiple weeks. He returned to practice last week and is good to go after avoiding the Week 1 injury report entirely. With Daniel Jones drawing the start versus Miami, there should be plenty of check-downs to go around in the Colts offense to start the year. Downs will be a strong FLEX option for his first action of the 2025 season.

Bills CB Christian Benford (groin) was limited on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

Bills CB Tre’Davious White was limited by a groin strain as well. That makes both of the Bills’ starting perimeter cornerbacks who are now questionable to play in Week 1 against the Ravens. Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman could have fruitful outings if neither coverage defender can go.

Packers DL Micah Parsons (back) was limited on Wednesday.

03 September 2025

We expect Parsons to be on the field when the Packers host the Lions in Week 1, but it’s possible they limit his snap count. Parsons joins a talented Packers defensive unit that will thoroughly test new Lions OC John Morton’s mettle. The Packers have notably officially switched Parsons to a generic defensive line positional designation.
