Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) was seen working off to the side at mandatory minicamp on Tuesday.

10 June 2026

Charbonnet went through a high-knees exercise before checking in with a trainer. There isn’t a whole lot to be drawn from this, but we suppose seeing Charbonnet go through rehab drills four months post-op is a positive of sorts. Questions remain as to when Charbonnet will be able to retake the field after undergoing ACL reconstruction this offseason, but he is expected to play at some point this year.

Cowboys RB Javonte Williams (undisclosed) was not present at organized team activities on Tuesday.

09 June 2026

ESPN’s Todd Archer advises that readers not to get carried away with any of today’s observations. It’s a reasonable preface. There is no reason to think Williams’ absence is concerning. The Cowboys are still conducting voluntary workouts, so he is not compelled to be there. Mandatory minicamp is scheduled for June 16-18. Archer adds that RBs Phil Mafah, Jaydon Blue and Malik Davis split first-team reps, with Mafah notably taking the first snap.

ESPN’s Todd Archer reports that Cowboys RB Phil Mafah took the first rep with the first-team offense on Tuesday.

09 June 2026

Cowboys starting RB Javonte Williams was absent. Archer notes that fellow backups, RB Jaydon Blue and RB Malik Davis, also got some work. After backup RB Miles Sanders suffered a season-ending injury in Week 4 last season, Davis and Blue respectively served as the Cowboys’ RB2 and RB3. Mafah was limited to just 10 offensive snaps all season. It appears as though he is getting the chance to work his way up the depth chart behind Williams this summer.

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling “is doing an awesome job,” and will contribute on special teams this season.

09 June 2026

Valdes-Scantling has logged only 78 special teams snaps in his career, with 49 of them coming in his 2018 rookie season. Schottenheimer said that Valdes-Scantling has the “speed to be a gunner,” so it sounds like he will not be returning punts and kicks. Don’t count on any return touchdowns appearing in his box score. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Nick Harris adds that Valdes-Scantling caught two passes and dropped one on Tuesday. His hands have always been an issue. While he will help ...

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said he really thinks WR Ryan Flournoy “is taking the next step.”

09 June 2026

Schottenheimer believes the 2024 sixth-round pick “has a chance to be a terrific receiver in this league.” He currently projects as the Cowboys’ WR3 and will likely carry that distinction into the regular season. Flournoy is a worthwhile best ball pick right now, but it remains to be seen whether he will warrant consideration in 12-team re-draft leagues late in August. Flournoy posted a 40/475/4 receiving line last season, while upping his yards per route run average from 1.06 to 174. It w ...

Panthers coach Dave Canales said he expects LT Ikem Ekwonu (knee) to be back “at some point” in the 2026 season.

09 June 2026

Ekwonu ruptured his patellar tendon in the playoffs against the Rams, prompting the Panthers to sign Rasheed Walker to a one-year contract. Playing on his fifth-year option, Ekwonu will probably be an interesting free agent after the season. He’s graded out as a good run blocker in 2023 and 2024 per PFF’s rankings and could benefit from a switch to right tackle. With Taylor Moton and Walker in the fold, there’s no guarantee Ekwonu will start a game this year even when he is ready to play.

Browns coach Todd Monken said he won’t name a starting quarterback coming out of minicamp.

09 June 2026

Shedeur Sanders took the initial reps with the first team, giving him a hair-width advantage, but Deshaun Watson will get to work with the ones tomorrow and both players will split reps on Thursday. Even when this job is initially won, it sure doesn’t seem like the winner will have much of a leash, making both players risky fantasy football picks both now and in best ball.

Bears EDGE Dayo Odeyingbo (Achilles) participated in full team drills on Tuesday.

09 June 2026

Odeyingbo tore his Achilles in early November, but it appears the recovery has gone well if he’s already getting full-team reps ahead of training camp. T.J. Edwards (shoulder) joined him in participating. With the Bears not adding much to their pass rush this offseason, they’ll be counting on a healthy Odeyingbo come September.

Bears CB Kyler Gordon (undisclosed) is not practicing at OTAs with an injury.

09 June 2026

Gordon has missed the majority of the offseason program with what has been deemed a soft-tissue injury. Not great! Gordon spent a lot of last year banged up with a hamstring issue that sent him to injured reserve. This is an inauspicious start for his fifth season in the NFL.

Jacoby Brissett and Josh Sweat are both at Cardinals minicamp but neither of them are practicing.

09 June 2026

Only the Cardinals could find a way to turn offseason team activities in a year in which they are projected to be one of the worst teams in the NFL into a dramatic exercise. Brissett looks to be pushing all his available leverage on a potential contract extension, though the fact that there’s really been no report that the Cardinals are looking to do something with him seems to be very telling. As for Sweat, his name has been bandied about in trade rumors but, again, the Cardinals don’t appe ...

Bengals restructured Joe Burrow’s contract.

09 June 2026

It frees up $10 million in cap space for the coming season, which NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport made sure to note was in part to pay for the Dexter Lawrence trade. It could have been a much deeper restructure had the Bengals wished, with Burrow on a $48 million cap number with $25.25 million in base salary due. Still, it’s something. More than we’ve seen from the Bengals in a while.

Giants RB Cam Skattebo (ankle) took 11-on-11 reps for the first time since his season-ending injury.

09 June 2026

It has always seemed likely that Skattebo will be ready for training camp, plus or minus an off-day here or there to help with recovery, but this pretty much guarantees it. Skattebo escaped the offseason as a big fantasy football winner since the Giants didn’t add a real competitor for the starting job. It remains to be seen if he can hold off Tyrone Tracy for a full-time role, but he should at least start the year as the lead of a committee.

The Athletic’s Zac Jackson reports rookie wideouts KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have started taking full rotations with both the No. 1 and No. 2 offensive groups.

09 June 2026

In other words, they’re “going to play a lot” per Jackson. It’s generally a good sign when rookies are already working with the 1s ahead of camp, even if they haven’t literally won the No. 1 role yet. Both players carry some breakout potential, though it’s hard to recommend either as more than a bench redraft league prayer in shallow leagues to open the season given Cleveland’s quarterback situation.

Browns coach Todd Monken singled out Isaiah Bond as a player who’s shown improvement this spring.

09 June 2026

Unless Bond can make a real move on Jerry Jeudy, we imagine he’ll probably split reps with Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion early in the season, leaving him as more of a deep-league stash. Still, after he went undrafted last year due to a sexual assault accusation, it appears the Browns think pretty highly of him and he’ll likely finish training camp as someone with an easy roster spot.

The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec believes Devontez Walker is the favorite for the team’s No. 3 WR role.

09 June 2026

He cautions that there’s still a possibility the Ravens address the position late in free agency, as Stefon Diggs, Keenan Allen, Deebo Samuel, and DeAndre Hopkins remain available. Still, he has the experience edge over the two rookie receivers and barring an injury stash situation it’s hard to understand the Ravens not keeping two players they just drafted. Considering Lamar Jackson’s history and the potential upside in Declan Doyle’s offense, Walker is an interesting buy in fantasy at ...

NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reports the Texans think David Montgomery “is ready to be a potential three-down back if needed.”

09 June 2026

The “if needed” is a bit of a buzzkill, but it should surprise nobody if Montgomery is a heavy-touch player in Houston’s offense this season after coming over in an offseason trade. Woody Marks is not guaranteed to have a major role if Montgomery can handle third downs as well. Montgomery mostly ceded these roles to Jahmyr Gibbs with the Lions; it is no insult to Marks to note that he is not Gibbs.

Browns DT Mason Graham was spotted in a walking boot at OTAs.

09 June 2026

Graham’s boot, on his right foot, obviously prevented him from practicing. There’s still plenty of time ahead of training camp, so there’s not a real reason for concern for his season yet barring more dire details emerging. Still, it’s not great news for a player that dealt with knee and rib issues last year.

Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said second-round EDGE Gabe Jacas “had a procedure” and has not been present at the team facility.

09 June 2026

He won’t participate in OTAs, and Jacas has yet to sign his rookie contract. We’ll get additional details as they emerge. There’s probably nothing immediately pressing about this news, but given how important it is for rookies to state their cases for playing time early, Jacas is probably at a disadvantage for getting early snaps in New England’s edge rusher room.

Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer said Matt Hennessy (neck) underwent surgery and there is no timetable for his return.

09 June 2026

Hennessy will be placed on PUP at the start of training camp. The veteran backup likely faces tough odds to make the roster at the start of the season.

ESPN’s Kevin Seifert reports that Vikings RT Brian O’Neill is “an observer” during OTAs while he waits on the Vikings to address his contract.

09 June 2026

O’Neill, who turns 31 in September, has missed six games over the last three seasons and made a Pro Bowl in 2024. He carried a career-best 84.5 PFF run block grade in 2025 and figures to be a worthwhile starter for the short-term, so it would be surprising if the Vikings didn’t address his contract in some way this offseason.
